The figure, symbolic of the presidency, was so admired at the
time that a full-size replica was produced for the University
of Wisconsin at Madison.

The original of this figure stands in the center of Hodgenville,
Kentucky, a short distance from Lincoln's birthplace. Abraham
Lincoln's son Robert attended the dedication in 1909, the centennial of
his father's birth.
